The Brewers

I've known Meg & Chad for awhile but this was my first time meeting baby Layla. She's such a petite baby so stinkin' sweet. We were able to get in a few pics in between feeding and nap time. I changed things up a little and shot mostly with my 50 1.4. I love that lens but got away from using it until just recently. Here are some favs.

Fusion 07

I was going through some older images and came across these from Fusion 07. Fusion was a weekend conference held in October at Port City Community Church for Small Group Leaders. Small groups are an integral ministry at Port City as life change happens best in those small groups.

From the PC3 website: PC3 small groups consist of four to six couples or six to ten individuals of the same gender and stage of life. As your small group meets regularly, you will become known and accepted for who you are and encouraged in your walk with God as you learn to apply biblical principles to everyday life. Ultimately, "doing life together" in small groups creates a community of people radically devoted to God, to one another and to the world we are called to serve.

The shots below are from the Friday night worship at Studio 3. The set rocked and the lights were punchy which made for great images.

The Biaginis

Here is a recent home session with the Biaginis. There were a bunch of fun shots with this family. I really dig the one of the girls in the buckets with the grandmother's hand coming in from the side. The one of Rich with the fist is another favorite.

The girls sometimes get together in the same crib for playtime. I wanted to try and capture this and the girls got a little crazy with an audience. I love hair in the action shot. I'm really digging the home session. Great times!

The Lindberts

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting a home session with the Lindberts and their new addition, Everett. Home sessions have been pretty popular lately and I really enjoy capturing how families interact in their place of comfort. Below are some of my favs.

Game Night & Poplar Grove

Last night we had game night with Halley at our house along with a sleep over. We started out with a game of Clue which came down to a race to the library. I made it there first and declared Mrs. Scarlet, with the knife, in the library. Pure awesomeness! Next we broke out Yahtzee which Halley had never played. Wow, can she roll the dice. It looks like I'll need to be scheduling a little trip out to Vegas. Not only was she getting Yahtzee...she was getting bonus points for getting it again. The score wasn't even close and I seriously got owned.

This morning, we headed over to Poplar Grove Plantation for some portrait shots of Halley. Despite the cold weather, she was a great model and we were able to get some sweet shots.
